I've bottled my first attempt at making wine (white) a few weeks back and it has a little sediment in the bottom of the bottles.

I wondered if this is OK to drink and could it have any bad affects on me?
I sure i read somewhere that it could upset ya stomach and probably give ya the shits! But is that the worst of it?

Sorry for the stupid questions but if i'm a little dubious about drinking then no one gonna touch it..... lol

I thought all homebrew had sediment at the bottom :/

when you pour it just try to keep it in the bottle if you dont want it in your drink
I've not been ill off mine but I am brewing cider don't know if it makes a diff lol

OK finished the first glass and while its not wonderful i haven't thrown up, **** myself or gone blind yet so guess i'll have another!

Wine shouldn't, but it won't do you any harm.

As Minx says, pour carefully, or decant before serving.

glad you haven't  yourself yet that has to be a good sign lol

Home made wine can be fizzy too, but even fizzy wine shouldn't really have a sediment.

Nothing drastically wrong, maybe bottled too soon, but some wines (particularly reds) which you think are perfectly clear and have been matured in bulk for a few months can still throw a light sediment.
