hi, i have a pressure keg in the fridge, with woodfords wherry in it.... its been in the keg for about 2 months and in the fridge about a month , every time i tried to get some, i would get loads of froth and no beer... eventually this has stopped and it is really flat... guess due to yeast not producing co2 anymore..... question is... would i now be able to bottle this?... and if yes, would i need to add a bit more sugar to the bottles or just leave somewhere warm after bottling for yeasties to reactivate???...

well in theory yes it may be bottlable but 3 months is a long time esp when all the yeasts probably settled and left with the beer sediment u drew off... if desperate to bottle u will need approx 1l starter of living yeast to mix in the warmed keg with more sugar then bottle and keep warm. easiest thing to do is to top up with some co2 cartridges if possible to get beer flowing( maybe invest in some nxt time?)

oh and if kegging again make a wee pint pouring attachment with a hollow pen secured with some 12mm Id 15mm OD pvc tubing so dont just get froth :drunk:

ive got a co2 cap, but its on the other barrel. thats why i was wondering if i could bottle it...... might give the starter a go, see what happens.... cheers

would i just take off a litre of the beer, warm add yeast and sugar and then return to keg, mix and bottle??
