Hi,

Just wondering if it would be ok to put a half used sack of grain into a vacuum bag and suck the air out ? it's the type you see on tv for storing clothes etc. I could do with keeping it for a couple of months and have a couple of these bags.

I'm not sure if the grain would deteriorate if there was no air ?

Thanks

I usually have a bag for 6 months or so and I never taste in the beer that it is off or have low efficiencies as a result. :thumb:

Are we talking crushed grain here? I've wondered how long mine will keep, ready crushed by Rob. 6 months would be more than enough for me.
