I know you're meant to wait two days for a constant reading but I can't wait to bottle this coopers wheat beer tonight as I have to leave town

It's been 9 days since starting and yesterday the sg was 1.004 - today it's between 1.004 and 1.003

so can I bottle this without problems??

thanks for any help!!

thanks mark - just checking!

I guess if you bottle a beer that started at 1.032 when it's 1.022 then it might be a problem - but not at this late stage?

thanks again

Well that's the whole point - I cant check tomorrow so is it ok to bottle it now

If I bottle it now how would I know if it's going to drop anymore??

maybe someone else has an opinion - if it was going to drop to say 1.000 from the 1.003 it is now would I get bottle bombs??

Hi Seamus

I tend to bottle at the weekend so if it isn't ready after a week I wait until the next week etc etc it won't hurt to be in the fv a further week as it will drop clearer, all depends how long you are out of town I suppose

How did you achieve 1003?
The best i have had 1012 with my last brew, they are reall ales though!

Leave it in the FV until you come back, i left my last brew and it was alot clearer once in the bottle. ;)

had a mate over and gave him a taste of the wheat beer

he really enjoyed it and he's talking about getting his own kit!
