My local homebrew have got some cheap kits as the dates are aug and sept 2012
They are assorted two can kits and single cans

Will these be ok or should i avoid them
Is a month or two out of date ok for both malts and yeasts or not

I'm curious too seems some of the sponsor sites have similar deals on expired date gear

I brewed a Milestone kit that was out of date and other than taking a day or so to get going, I didn't notice any difference to the final product.

I'm currently fermenting a Brewferm Diabolo that's dated September. Its chugging along quite happily.

I once fermented Boots Bitter kit that was couple years out of date.

The kits should be fine but as Alan says, good idea to have some yeast handy.
