Hi guys... Total beer brewing Noob here

I've been given the Brooklyn Brew Co Punk IPA kit and as this is my first beer brew I'm limited by equipment.
The instructions are here, https://brooklynbrewshop.com/pages/instructions-brewdog-punk-ipa but I was wondering if it could be done in a BIAB way as I only have one pan big enough to mash in, and have no clue how I would sparge this much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks

Yep, any all grain kit can mashed BIAB.

What I do is mash in the bag in the one big pan, then remove the bag and pour the wort out into my fermenter.

Then I put all the sparge water into the one big pan and add the bag back into that for 15mins. Some call it a batch sparge or dunk sparge. Then I remove the bag and add the first wort back to the big pan for boiling.

Hi, I think in theory you can BIAB any thing but the bigger brews are harder to get close to the efficiency you want, so I found. If your brew is the same size as that in the link then maybe try using a colander (sterilised first) with the grain sat over your pan when you're ready to sparge after mashing. Boil the kettle for 1.5 litres of water and adjust the temp afterwards with cold water. By the time you've used the first lot of water, the kettle should have boiled again to repeat.

I ended up buying a cheap kettle when doing this, as it was new there was no limescale build up. I'll drink limescale in tea every day but it ain't going near my beer

I started making AG beers a few months ago, after being directed to this thread, http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=51779 . The base recipe is for 5l like your kit, you just use the supplied hops, as per your kit's timings. Make sure your pot can hold at least 6, or preferably 7 litres, as the extra volume will be needed for the boil stage. I now do 10l batches using a 15l Wilko stockpot and grain mashing bag.

What I do for a BIAB sparge is to mash in the pan, drain the bag and open it in an FV. I then add 6l of warm water as a dunk sparge and drain again after 10 minutes, adding this to the boil. You need to reduce your initial water volume by 6l, of course. It gives about a 10% improvement in efficiency because the liquor trapped in the grain ends up with a lower gravity, so more sugars go into the boil.

Thanks for all the replies... Youtube came to my rescue on this one.

Just need to wait for my muslin bags and digital thermometer to arrive and I'm in the All-grain club
