Ey up again, so ive got my sg to a stable level and next week bottle etc...problem is i didnt take an original sg reading! Bugger. Just after a ball park figure if anybodys done this one before?

Not done it but should be fairly easy to take a good stab at it, we would need to know:

What this one can kit weighed ? looks like its a 1.8kg can
then
What did you add to it - ie sugar, dried or liquid malt extract, and what weight ?
What volume did you mix this all to includng the water you added - ie, 19l, 22l, 23l

Oh and what is your finishing gravity reading that you have measured ?

Where did you get the reciepe? There's a reciepe for Burton Bridge Top Dog Stout in BYOBRA which I thought tasted more like a porter as it only has Pale malt, Terrified Wheat and Choccy as the grist. It has a OG of 1.050

1.8kg can of mixture
1200g of suger
Was 26ltr of water....its at 1.008/9 and im bottling on sunday
If i cant get a ballpark ill just blind drink it and see how i feel after 5/6 bottles...if its around 4% ill still be good to walk normal
