I was wondering what the temperature control is like on a Burco boiler.
When you work out a spot on the dial to get to around 75c, how much variation is there around that temperature?

When I checked mine it was pretty close. I assume you are using it for a sparging. You could always check the temperature of the water when it gets to the grain bed and then adjust it accordingly up or down.

I was a bit concerned though about mine as you can turn the dial up and down by 10 degrees either way before the thermostat kicks in or out. I did consider using my inkbird to control it more accurately but then didn't think it was worth the effort. As long as it's the right temperature on the grain bed it's fine.

Yes i’m just using it for sparging so if it was set at 70c it would not really matter if it were 65c or 75c.
Like you I don’t think I can be bothered with setting up an inkbird, installing thermowell etc. I want to keep things simple as possible.
