on a bit of a whim the other night i made a czech lager. it wasnt until the point of no return that i realised it was only 10l kit and the fermentor wasnt marked up (i knew where 5 gal was). so based on a guess and the gravity i made it to the end. i have just marked up an identical fermentor and found out that i have only made it up to around 8L . Sg was 1058.
my plan is to leave it until the initial ferment is over have a look at the gravity then if its too strong dilute during the transfer prior to lagering. i think this has the least amount of risk.
have i missed anything or will this be ok?
thanks
