I suppose £295 is quite reasonable for something of that size with two elements, but I'm a cheapskate

You can get the Olive oil storage containers quite reasonably from Italy . . . and postage is not all that bad . . . . Then an element and installation, plus hop strainer . . . will still be around 150-175 quid. . . . Sources for Italian Shiny have been posted here before but I can't be bothered to do a search at the moment
