how much extra Brown Sugar over the 1kg would it be safe to add to a normal extract Stout kit to give it some added strength without sacrificing the taste
 
so if I added another 500g to a 4% beer what sort of final ABV could I expect ?
 
5% in a beer is more than plenty for me.
For some reason though I love producing super strength wines
Every time I say a 12% will be a nice little tipple,I end up creating a 16-18% monster.
