And I don't mean the brewing ones
Hi guys, I've recently been renovating our bathroom and fitted an oak windowsill. I treated with Briwax, but noticed a few months down the line some discolouration in the finish due to moisture or items left on it.
As its in the bathroom it receives a good hammering of moisture, so I was thinking if there's anything I can add as a layer on top to protect the finish?
I like the natural colouration, so a bit loathe to use a stain instead. But was hoping there be another treatment I can add to give it a bit more protection? Perhaps I should use a proper buffer to really work it in, rather than a cloth?
If not, what other products do folks recommend to protect and enhance the grain?
Many thanks
