The British Hop Association are trying to push the fact that you dont need to go to the US to get crazy hop flavours and that there is more to the UK than fuggles and goldings. Only problem is I don't know where you can get these more exotic varieties on the home brew level.

Could anybody suggest some where?

e.g. Jester, Olicana, etc

Oh, and fair play to the hop association. I'm a big supporter of buying local/British so if I'd love to have a go at an American style IPA with British hops.

There are links to sellers and distributors at the bottom of the link you posted. Have a look at those and they might point you in the right direction. Suspect they might be in large quantities though....

I read about Jester a few months ago in a magazine in a pub. I googled it when I got home and it was sold out then. I think they only grew a limited crop.

So it's a shame that they are promoting something you can't get (and haven't been able to get for months). Bit of an own goal really, I bet there's a few on here that would have tried it, i probably would. Maybe next harvest.

I love making beer with English hops, but they aren't like the big American hops and never will be. Every growing region has it's own characteristics, and that's a good thing. American breweries are buying more and more English hops. Because they make beers that only English hops can make. It's the same with each hop region, Germany, and down under.
