I know it's still young but I couldn't wait

Served in a Manly 660ml Bottle, I seem to enjoy pouring it into 2 glasses
Head was helped with a pocket beer engine as it was bottled bright from the keg.

Opened with a nice hiss, not much on the aroma just some good old malty smell. But the mouth is totally different, Nice body well balanced malts and hops, leaning towards the malts slighty, UP informed me it didn't quite meet the Mild standard I think I would agree it's edging towards a porter, But who cares if it doesn't fit into a catagory! Tangerine is in the taste, was expecting it more in the aroma but it's definatly in the taste, Personally I hate oranges, but this is a nice taste with a dry citrusy finish. Dam it  It's gone :?
Very Nice UP, it's definatley up my street.
I hope you paid the delivery man with some of your beers cos I would like him to deliver again!!

The delivery man has yet to be paid, but have promised him something in a brown bottle.
Glad you enjoyed, but the bottles are 660ml I think.

What's a pocket beer engine??
A 10ml syringe . . . Pull a couple of ml of beer into it and then some air and inject the lot back into the beer with some force. . . . It will generate a nice creamy head . . . but beware with a highly carbonated beer you generate lots of foam so have plenty of room in the glass to do this. I know a brewer who did this . . . the beer foamed up, he lunged forward to schlurp the foam . . . . and knocked his front crown out on the lip of the heavy china stein. . . . Its a technique I use to knock the carbonation out of a beer so I can taste it without any CO2 bite.

Thanks Aleman, thought I was another gadget I'd have had to buy.
