hi guys can anyone point me in the direction of some podcasts,
and how to get them on to an ipod thingy, :wha:

would like to listen to some instead of xmas songs on the radio... :nah:

Brew strong on the brewing network is particularly good.

as a result of this post I've just listened to my first ever broadcast ( Basic Brewing Radio )
I picked a subject that I've been interested in and discussed with folks on here...the benefits of moving your brew to a Secondary fermenter

They did tests...and the results......................

undecided !

Several beers done, several folks tasted and the results were all mixed, some for some against... ha haa typical brewers...

Any way the discussion was interesting, although sometimes hard to follow due to folks getting up out of bed and making NOISE !.....

Basic Brewing Radio is fantastic. Such a huge backlog of great content to work through on long journeys!

I listen to a lot of the Brewing Network but it is not for everyone. If you are into food it is well worth listening to the Home Brewed Chef on the Brewing Network :thumb:

Yep, basic brewing radio is my favourite too. Have just started listening to all of the old episodes starting in 2005. I need something to listen to whilst washing up.

Beersmith's podcast is pretty good as well. Though it's mostly about beer styles and festivals than how to brew.

are these easy to get on to an ipody..?
Yep!

From iTunes, go to the iTunes Store and use the Search Store field in the top right-hand corner to search for "Basic Brewing Radio", then click on the "Subscribe Free" button. This will download the episodes to the podcast section of your iTunes Library (see left hand margin, or top of screen if you've been moved to iTunes 11.0 recently) - some of the past ones may require you to click on a "Get All" button in the podcast section of your iTunes library.

Repeat with a search for "The Brewing Network".

When all the required episodes have been downloaded, sync or manually move them to your iPod. All future episodes should download to your podcast library automatically.

I've just done the above so it does work!
