Gonna be getting a lager started tonight and I'm a bit unsure about bottling.

I have made lots of Ale and bottled this with great success, but do I store them differently?

Usually I would store the Ale in the warmth after bottling to start secondary fermentation, then move them to the garage to mature in lower temps.

After the 0-2degrees (4 weeks worth) of lagering and transfer to bottles with priming sugar do I then move them to the warmth?

Thanks

I think I may have found the answer.

Storing at room temps give the beer carbonation, yup I know this already, so I would leave the Lager at room temps for two weeks then Lager them in the bottles at low temps.

Just wonder if since I'm using S23 yeast the temperature would only need to be around 16 degrees C to begin the carbonation process.

hmmmmmmmmmm

I'm brewing lager too (currently primary fermentation).
I used 2 pack of S-23 for the primary fermentation (10 - 16 degrees) and will secondary condition around 4 degrees before bulk priming with 160gm of sugar for 22 litres and bottle condition around 4 degrees (providing this cold weather remains).

Apart from the conditioning temps I would think bottling is the same for both. :D
