Anyone used it?
Will one packet be enough?
Also,I don't have brewing software yet,can anyone tell me how much lager malt to use for a session beer around 4% ?
I'm looking to do a smash beer, I have Galaxy,Amarillo and Wai-ti hops, not sure which will go well.
Any help appreciated 👍

Never used it myself but If I was I'd just go with the standard 'rules' for lager yeast. If your fermenting at 15C or below use 2 packs. If your going for a steam beer and fermenting above 15C just the one should do the trick. (this is always assuming it's a full 10g-11g pack and not a 6g or so pack)

Have always used either saflager or mangroves jacks and fermented at 13 degrees with one packet. Worked well for me. think both are either 10g or 11g sachets

The general consensus is to use two packets for lagers. But I've been following a thread over on jims, which indicates we need a lot less yeast to ferment out our beers than we think (possibly coming from our American cousins and their conservative yeast calcs)
