Hi folks,
I'm fermenting 18 litres of Brewferm Grand Cru in time for Christmas but I'm a bit concerende about the gravity readings. After 7 days it was reading as 1.020 and after 9 days it is 1.018. This seems very high and the beer is a tad on the viscous side.
This is the first time I've ever used this or any kit, so is this normal? I've used candy sugar instead of sugar but I don't think this should make any difference. If I bottle it as normal and leave it for a couple of months, should this fix it?

Hi there. I bottled mine a few weeks ago- used syrup for sugar

Real og- 1.64
Real fg- 1.11
