Hi there
Once my Wherry moves out of the water bath tomorrow, I will be starting off my Abdij kit.
I've decided to use Golden Syrup with the kit, rather than white sugar, but I'll stop short of getting candi sugar.
I have a pack of Tronozymol yeast nutrient, which is advertised for wine, but I was wondering if it is suitable to put in the Abdij.
I would also usually whisk for 5mins to aerate.
I don't think the Brewferm instructions call for either nutrient or substantial aerating, but can it hurt? With such a high OG, I want to do everything I can to ensure a smooth journey down to 1.010 or so!
Any tips will be very welcome.
