And more specifically, brewers who have moved to the dark side

My full thumbs up from the missus to move to BIAB has been rescinded to a "more investigation required before permission is granted" approval. She has asked me to look into how long it all takes of my time, what smells will pervade through the house, what mess am I likely to make (even though she doesn't step foot in the kitchen, she leaves all the cooking and cleaning to me but there you go!) and all that sort of things.

So if there are any brewers in the region that can put up with a bystander/ willing helper/ maker of brews to come along on a brew day and take some notes, I'd be eternally grateful. I am a 9 - 5, Mon- Fri worker, so ideally it would need to be a weekend but other than that, I'm flexible.

Cheers :thumb:

I am in the same boat as you mate - if this great person out there wouldnt mind 2 bystanders/ willing helpers/ maker of brews then it would be muchos apprecianos!!

Once the Oatmeal stout is out of the conical then I'm going to be brewing a Bohemian Pilsner that you are welcome to come and have a look at. . . . . I might even be tempted to pull some of my plastic kit out for 'disposal'
