I may have been hasty in my preconceptions about this bar....

Went in today for a peek....

Quite modern interior, row of Brewdog taps (no handpumps), but a very impressive range of bottles...

I had a Hardcore IPA (9.2%), which I've tried in its Tesco's Finest guise.... and a Tokyo* (18%)..both were bloody lovely..

Not cheap, mind you...but hey-ho..it's not somewhere I'd go every week..

Afterwards, I went into another decent bar, and the beer tasted quite boring, to be honest. I know CAMRA don't like Brewdog, but there are a lot of things I don't like about CAMRA !

Oh well, vive le difference, eh ?

Anything thats lager (commercial or not), APA's or anything off the hook and CAMRA just don't want to know, I'm glad BrewDog are bucking the trend and turning out great beers like the craft breweries in the US.

Even CAMRA are evolving, I was at their Leicester Beer Festival last night, great festival, it's in a hindu community centre and they put on curries in room next door. It's like all your basic needs are being met in one place. There were plenty of APA style beers, lots of pales loaded with C hops, beers with assorted odd flavours.
