I like porters.

I have big respect for the guys at Brewdog.

It was always going to be a winner wasn't it? Erm... yes.

Dark, dark brown with a tight head and a whole noseful of chocolate - both barrels! Hints of berry fruit behind.

On the palette it's the same. But bigger. Much bigger. With a hint of smoke and a biting, cutting bitter finish...

...and at 6.2% it's got plenty of balls.

Maybe not one for a Monday night then... Ooops...

I did try one in a pub near Embankment station last year where I was surprised to see on draught.
Very, very nice but a mistake at midday before any food :)
