Landlord.
Went to Jims yesterday for a brewday and must say we were rather impressed with his set up. It took us 90 mins to get there and was well worth the trip. Anyone that says they cant brew all grain on a budget need to rethink and look into it a bit harder. We soon realised that shiney is not necessary. All Jims equipment is plastic and as the little solar pump recirculated the wort we realised a great beer in the making. No worrying about gravity readings or boil times or even mash times but yet the beer turned out at 1.054 nice clear wort too.
Also was amazed at Jims yeast freezing technique which we will start to do in the near future.
All in all a great day with bacon butties was had by all.
Thanks Jim it was great to meet you, Val, and Eric STD too :thumb: :![Small Cheers cheers: cheers:](https://web.archive.org/web/20230418144719/https://www.world-of-smilies.com/wos_essen/nahrung002.gif)
