I am aiming to ferment with Kveik and am thinking of buying a brewbelt to keep the temp up. Does anyone know what temperature I could achieve using a brewbelt (of similar)?

I think it entirely depends on the brand and type of belt. I'd be careful with some of them as they can have a high contact temperature which would not be great for some fermenters. Fermzilla IIRC has a 50-55c max temp before problems. When I tested with a thermometer it wsd in the 40-45 which I was not comfortable using.

If it matters not then I'd go for an inkbird and pad/mat and some good insulation. Worked for me for years before changing. Not tried to achieve the Ferm temps kveik commands without a Ferm chamber. I'm sure others will chip in.

I’ve just done a saison at 28C with a brew belt because my tube heater broke. I reckon it could have gone much higher.

I don't know. I've always felt the pads are more efficient.

But... I use an aquarium immersion heater with a built in thermostat. It was a tenner. I drilled a hole in my bucket lid and silicone sealed the cable in it. The heater dangles in to the bucket and can heat my brew easily enough. The yeast is happy and it doesn't cause any issues.

And get a bit of insulation going on too.
