I've just tried a Bass clone that I put in the keg a few weeks ago and its as flat as a witch's wotsit. I'm pretty sure the mistake I made is only putting 50g of priming sugar in (that's what the book mentions and as I had a major leak on my last brew due to too much pressure I thought I'd go with it). It had a couple of weeks in the warm followed by the same in a cold place
I'm thinking of warming the brew back up, pitching another 100g or so of sugar with a hope of restarting the secondary ferment, is this a decent plan or is there a better one?
It's in a plastic barrel so force carb isn't possible?

The tap is OK, the lid that's on now is a new one that doesn't have a gas adaptor, I am going to fit a different one that does if I re-prime it.

yeah get a valve on a new lid and just use a bulb , instant .

So don't bother re-priming, just inject CO2? Didn't think you could force carbonate a plastic keg?

Great stuff, I didn't use a bulb I bought one of the bigger cylinders but in any case it's ok now.

Cheers
