My 5th of the five Brew For Ukraine recipes and artwok released in February by Yuri Zastavny at Pravda Brewery in Lviv, Ukraine was bottled today. Frau Ribbentrop is a Weissbier though the recipe and resulting beer is closer to a Belgian Witbier with coreander and orange peel. I had crowns made for this batch instead of bottle labels. The other recipes brewed were Red Eyes (American Amber), From the San to the Don ( Ukrainian Anti-Imperial Stout), Strength (Belgian Tripel), and Putin Huylo (Putin is a Di@khead), a Belgian Golden Strong. The Tripel came in first place in category in the recent Maryland Microbrewery Festival Homebrew Competition.
