I bottled 15.5L of TC today, made with Lidl apple juice, 49p a litre, 100% juice but from concentrate, and their sugar is 49p a KG. Also to 10L (2x5L) of RGJ WOW down into a secondary container, added a crushed campden tablet and a tsp of stabilizer, I'll hit it with the Wilko finings during the week and bottle it next weekend. This 100% RGJ WOW has got them knocking the door down for it, SWMBO, her sisters, her mates are all after me for bottles of it. Makes me wonder, so many people who aren't into homemade beer, cider or wine until they taste it and then they're suddenly a born again earth citizen who want to do me the biggest favour by drinking anything I've thrown yeast at in the last three months. That's the one thing I don't see in the homebrew shops is the big stick you need to beat off all the people who like to drink the homebrew but don't like to homebrew it themselves. Sorry, rant over, it the the 1.5L of TC I had while bottling, 'kin TC really brings out the worst in me. But at 60p a litre for something that's 8% I'm going to be doing this for the forseeable.
