Hi
I've managed to acquire an old Belfast sink for my garage to add to my brewing area. I have water and power in the garage but no waste water.
I only brew about once a month so I was planning on running a 4m length of 32mm flexible hose from the sink waste out of my garage door to the nearest waste water drain on the back of the house. When not in use I would coil up the flexible pipe and leave it hanging on the garage wall. I'm planning on putting an isolater on the pipe to the tap above the sink in case anyone accidentally turns it on when the waste is not in place.
I've come to order my plumbing bits tonight and I've hit a bit of a snag. Are there any plumbers (or good DIY'ers) who can recommend the correct fittings to go from my sink waste to the 32mm corrugated pipe. The sink fitting is a 40mm threaded male part. My best guess was a 40mm to 32mm adapter that would allow me to insert the 32mm pipe into the compression fitting with a good smear of sealant and hope for the best. I'm not fussed about a u-bend or trap.
Has any one got any bright ideas or other suggestions to solve the problem? It would be so nice to have a sink near my brewing area. Photos to follow. Thanks in advance.
