How are you finding the latest controller. Is it worth the upgrade? Have you got the chiller connected ?

Just a wee point.. this is the 2015 controller not the original (which is grey)

Ah - thanks on the model. We started with the 2021 50l Braumeister (so that always had the newer controller on). We bought this 20l one for recipe testing, and I got fed up lying on the floor programming it (the new ones downloads your recipes from My Speidel. Personally I like the newer controller, and we've never had any problems, but I know it splits the pack a bit. That said, the contoller upgrade is eye-wateringly expensive (c. £600), so we did debate it for quite a while.

As long as these newfangled internet connected controllers don't get crowdstruck or just obsoleted after a few years like my Samsung smart TV.
