Hi all,

Totally new to home brewing. Can anybody let me know what kit I need to get going, and who make a nice chestnutty ale? Around 5.5% not really interested in discussing politics!! Just beer 🍺

Welcome to the forum.

At the moment people are finding kits hard to come by (everyone's brewing because the pubs are closed) but our forumites are reporting that Brew2bottle have good stocks Beer & Cider Kits compare their stock with our forum reviews Member Reviews - Beer Kits and Brewing Equipment. although Im sure some of our kit specialists will be along shortly to give you some suggestions.

Happy brewing (and stay out of the snug if you want to avoid politics) :laugh8:

Lots of kits available, a lot of them are dirty Tory voters though.

Joking aside you need to give more info in what you intend to make and how.

You say you want to start with a chest-nutty ale are you going to start with kits or jump in the deep end and go all grain?

Have a look at our sponsors kits which start from £30 -
