Hello all
I shall be continuing my weekly brewathon this week to boost my stocks and return to the "not so bad life"...
Anyway..as per title I have some B-x lurking in the hop storage cryo chamber...
Next brew I fancy a pale ale type thing but want to use the B-x...also got some Celia, Willamette and Golding's plus the usual C suspects. Malt wise..loads of pale, wheat,Munich, crystal, choc etc...

I have a BX plant, definitely one of my favourites. I've used it as a single hop in a mild and best bitter, although both times it was quite hop forward which led to the BX really shining through. Something like 80% pale malt, 20% Munich would make a nice base, how much BX do you have?

For a ~23litre batch I'd try something like:

4.5kg pale
1kg Munich

25g Willamette @60 min
20g Bramling @10 min
30g Bramling @FO

I'm not hugely into Willamette and would be tempted to use it all for bittering, but it can be used at half the amount of the Bramling for the late additions if you're looking to get rid of more.
