almost ready to bottle my very 1st brew,a lager.could any one help me here?must i use glass bottles or can i simply get the 1 litre plastic bottles you see in the shops

i use coopers 500ml brown plastic bottles, the only thing is with a litre bottle is u need to drink it all in one go, and mostly likely the second 500ml pint u have might turn out a bit flat if its been standing.
if you're using glass bottles u will need to make sure they can cope with the 2nd fermentation, others have recommended bulmers or magners bottles but not bud or stella as they will most likely explode.

Either is fine.

Glass looks better and keeps longer but its hard to tell how carbonated the brew is.

Plastic is cheaper, easier and does less damage if it explodes due to overcarbonation.

I use 500ml plastic, carbonated water bottles.
Don't forget to keep them out of sunlight.
