Im bottling up for the first time later, i dont want bottle bombs so what should i do to advoid this. Im putting it into litre bottles, how much sugar should i put into each bottle.

Best tip is to make sure it's finished fermenting then give a few extra days to clear. I leave my brews in the fermenter for 10-14days then bottle or keg.
Are you doing ale or lager? For an ale i use half a teaspoon per pint, but for a lager you would need 1 teaspoon per pint (But it all comes down to personal choice some people like their brews fizzier than others)

ale and i dont like it to fizzie so will do half tea spoon, thanks for the heads up, will also leave fermenting for another couple of days.

I batch prime 80g per 23ltr which is about 2g per 500ml bottle and has fizz, but I don't like over fizzy ale, have gone down to 60g :thumb:

Heaped teaspoon is about 8g :thumb:

I'm with you on that one marra. I even tried 40g the last couple of brews, but I may go up to 60g coz I tend to drink the lower gassy ale faster, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just run out faster!
