Hi all,

Hoping to bottle today. Beer is very lively in cask, so how do I know how much sugar to add to the bottles and what type of sugar?
 
Do I understand that you are bottling clear conditioned beer from a keg?
If so, as you will already be transferring gas I would use 1/4tsp for ale and 1/2 tsp for a pale lager.
To prevent fobbing during transfer, chill the beer as much as possible as well as the bottles and have the bottles wet :thumb:
