I never bottle.....ever.
However, I've started recently bottling and I've got my first batch sat here in front of me and I think I have a problem. Cut a long story short, I bottled this batch on Sunday and primed each bottle with a Coopers carb drop. I then brought them into the house and put them under the stairs. That night it got mega-cold. Like proper below 0 and snowing, etc so the house was a wee bit cold. I'm sat in the house now (3 days after bottling) and the house isn't really cold as we're living in it, but it's not warm like my fermenting fridge.
Is that ok? Will I just have to leave the bottles longer to carb up? 3 weeks instead of 2, etc.
Am I best to move them to a warmer location ASAP?
If I do move them to a warmer place, will the yeast wake up?
Thoughts?
