Tomorrow is bottling day so any advice would be welcome. My American IPA has been cold crashing for 2 days now and the fg has been steady at 1004 for the last 5 days from 3 readings, so tomorrow i plan on bottling some of my brew and kegging the rest. Out of the 23 litres i plan on bottling 5 litres and kegging the rest, i want to see what the difference is between bottle and keg for future ref. So taking into account there will probably be around 30 pints in the keg any advice would be welcome And i have a couple of questions,
1. How much priming sugar do i use in the keg bearing in mind i will only have around 30 pints in there
2. How much priming sugar do i use in the bottles, or should i prime the whole batch in the keg and then bottle from the keg.
3. What temp should i store the keg/bottles at to settle and clear.
my plan is to bottle 3 small clear bottles and 8 x 500ml bottles leave them for 3 weeks and see how the clear bottles are settling and test them from week 2,3&4. Thanks for any advice. Pete.
