Bottles

Rather ironic innit .....

A mate of mine owns a restaurant locally and he save all the beer bottles for me for brewing :thumb:

but I find it rather ironic that the hardest to remove are the plastic labels from the 'organic' beers the same brewer supplies him with other types of beers with ordinary labels that come off a treat, but the plastic ones are on 'organic ales' :twisted:

Many of those plastic labels come off easily and cleanly (once you can start a corner), just fill the bottle with very hot tap water then leave it for 5 minutes.

Some will always persist in leaving their glue on the bottle, recycle those, I simply CBA to attack them with white spirit and scourers.
