If i leave the beer in the warm for two weeks, then cold for three. If i bring it back into the warm to store would this be ok or would the yeast start to work again.

I can only store in my study so its not cold but could put up with it at the bottom of my stairs for the three weeks it need

The beer will degrade if stored in the warm. If you want it to last, get it into the cold as soon as possible and keep there at a stable temp.

if there's no fermentable sugar present in the bottles after your 2 weeks in warmth and one week in cold there will be nothing for the yeast to work on.
That#s why its important to give the yeast time to finish its fermentation, and then theres only the small amount of sugar you add to induce the producion of gas..carbonation.
Its better to keep the bottles coolish in long term storage as the beer will age and taste better.

This is exactly the dilema I have.

I want to make a few batches over the next month or two so I do not have to worry about making any over the summer while I get on do some work in the house.

The only place I have to store them is the cupboards in the shedb but should actually get a "summer" this year will they be ok.

Are you meant to put them in the fridge after the 2 weeks that you have put the sugar in or can the fridge wait till a week or so before you are going to drink them?
