Dogs are wonderful.
Speaking of things that go with eggs, many years ago my mother had a Golden Retriever who swiped a stack of cooked bacon strips off the dinner table just before dinner. Who could blame him?
 
We do the occasional delivery of pet food and a few years ago did some for a lady with a Dalmatian. This particular time she said the dog was locked in the garden as while she was out he had opened the kitchen cupboard,removed a 5 litre bottle of cooking oil, carefully chewed the top part of the bottle off...and drank the lot!!
