Had a nasty accident with a bulk LPG tank (although I wasn't hurt too badly)

Funnily enough I was chatting to a mate about the 380 triples, I remember a guy I worked with had one, all black, and looked really smart.

I passed my bike test in 1979, and I've had a bike on the road pretty continuously since then. But my current bike is my last, I think! my ageing, but still lovely Ducati 748.

Biggest regret selling my 1972 Kawasaki S2 350cc for £125 in 1978 after stripping and painting frame.
SWMBO said it had to go as it was stripped and in a bedroom, try and replace one in original condition for £000's today

The best bike i owned is the one in my avatar, 1978 Honda cx500 v twin, built to take a turbo the crank cases are super strong the v is 75 degrees so they turned the heads in to keep the carbs out of the way hence the moniker twisted v, i modded mine 16 inch rear wheel 650 clutch and pinion i ditched the cdi ignition for an ignitech full electronic jobby did the triple bypass, cam chain guides stator and mech seal, did 70,000 miles on it all over the uk and europe would cruise at 80mph all day fully loaded and never missed a beat, and it is on sorn somewere in Whitechurch in Cheshire if i was to buy another bike it would be this i just love v twins https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=m...vld=cid:5c849935,vid:SNkIvO0eFIw,st:0&vssid=l
