I was in my LHBS earlier today picking up a few bits and pieces :thumb: when I noticed 'Better Brew Finishing Hops', not seen these before. They came in a small sachet containing 12 grams of hop pellets in an teabag, apparently they add aroma and added bitterness to the finished beer. According to the instructions you soak the hop bag in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes, then add mixture including hop bag to your brew before adding yeast. :hmm:

Anyone tried these out in their brew? Would they really add aroma to the beer if added BEFORE adding the yeast I wonder :hmm:

Just like adding a muslin bag of hops really...

...Which is what I did to my Better Brew IPA and it is an absolute belter. Be careful on the prices though - you'll probably get a better deal on hops, either whole vac-packed or pellet from the forum sponsors.

Hi Calum, saw these in our LHBS in Witney, from memory price was about £1.85?

Edit: just noticed that the homebrew company have these in stock - http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk/ind ... ath=77_169
