Any suggestions for the best yeast to use for a dry stout? I have s-04, S-33 and Danstar Nottingham. Any of these be suitable or should I get in some Irish ale yeast?

Windsor is a low attenuator isn't it?

Designed to leave loads of body and a bit of residual sweetness?

Next week's brew is Aleman's Effin Oatmeal Stout but with Windsor so as not to be too dry...

Yeah, S-04 or Notty would be ideal.

If you're ordering from Rob you could use his own English Ale Yeast which does a nice job too (certainly it has in my bitters anyway). Marginally cheaper than S-04 and a bigger bit cheaper than Notty into the bargain.

Will keep that in mind, I have plenty yeast at the minute. Just ordered a lot of stuff, wanted to get it from Rob but he was out of light DME and I like to get everything at once to keep postage down. Went with the HBC instead, they've always been pretty good.
