Just wondering what kit people would recommend for a nice wintery cider ready for christmas! Thanks!

If i am not making my own from juice then i tend to use the brewbuddy kit as a base and modify it with whatever flavoring i want.

If its something seasonal you want then On The Rocks do a spiced apple cider.
Not tried it myself but i may give it a go as it sounds interesting.

I've not tried any cider kits myself but I haven't heard any real good reviews for them.

Have you tried searching the forum for Turbo Cider?
Basically, 23ltrs of cheap apple juice, very strong jug of black tea and some Malic acid.

Pop it all in a fermenting bucket and add yeast and nutrients.
It won't be great by Christmas but will be drinkable if slightly sweetened.

mulled cider is lovely (rather than mulled wine), and you can use decent cider rather than cheap fizzy fruity stuff
