Just be aware that these sites are american and as a result gallons are us gallons. :thumb:

easy to sort all you do is divide by 18.9 then :thumb: times by 23 that gives you our 5 gallons , do that with all ingredients

I remember brewing a few recipes from that site when I was starting out, and they didn't turn out well. Now, going back to my notes, it wasn't 100% my lack of experience brewing, but the recipes were just wonky.

My preference now is to always grab recipes from either a source you trust or at least a source where people can post feedback. I usually start at homebrewtalk.com's recipe section or Jamil Z's book as a baseline. I usually begin tweaking and asking questions once I've got a proven recipe as a starting point.

Can't beat making up your own recipes. Apart from the odd Graham Wheeler recipe I've only made my own beers for several years now. Some will turn out better than others but that's the same as trying new beers in pubs. If you keep good records and tasting notes the real challenge is to replicate the same beer with a later brew.
