well, I'm probabaly kicking a hornets nest, but I'd like to know what you Brewers consider the best or better UK exports here to the USA.

I have tryed samual smith, guiniss, harp, Newcastle and perhaps other.
I'm interested in bitters, pales and stouts. No sours or lagers please

Adnams and brewdog export a lot and you could find in the states - in my opinion Adnams would be a good representation of a modern British company making traditional English beers.

Brewdog have a brewery in Columbus Ohio so I'd have thought you'd find that easily enough? It is however a bit like coals to Newcastle.

Oh, you mean "Best exported brew!" That has to be Tennents Lager. It used to be available almost all over the world where alcohol was consumed and the cans with the scantily clad ladies on them brought back dreams of home; so who cared what the contents tasted like?

Before I realised it was a brew we were discussing, I was going to say "Scotsmen."

This is because sitting in a bar on the other side of the world, listening to a native of Scotland explaining the virtues of a country which he hasn't visited for at least thirty years, is one of life's truly boring moments; and is probably the reason why the phrase "Slit your own wrists." was invented.

That's me signing off to watch the Probowl game! acheers.
