Me and Mrs oldstout just stripped about 1kg of these berries from the tree/bush in the garden, I knew they were ready as they are now dropping and the birds are in the bushes eating them too. I've checked and they are not poisonous, and I reckon with the juice that comes out of these I could get a good looking (dunno about the taste though) red wine :wha:

Anyone tried them?

Preparation advice is what I need really, they have four small seeds and I reckon I don't want them in the mix in case they bitter things, hopefully one of you can point me in the direction of a decent recipe for a DJ full? I haven't consulted my CJJ Berry book yet as I've just finished rinsing them, but no doubt theres got to be a way to get some use out of these - hopefully :thumb:
