Ive been looking into home-brewing software and was just wondering if anybody uses Beersmith? Its only $27 and seems to have some very good tools! Any other options out there?

I use beersmith had the the first one and the update its a very good software im supprised they havnt got an app out yet for it though quite a few on here use it

I use Graham Wheelers Beer Engine - it's free and with some tweaks I find it all I need :thumb:

what tweaks have you done to Beer Engine ?

I am learning and adding recipes to Beer Mate at the moment.

Edited - I set the lost wort due to dead spaces, evaporation from the copper. This then helped me set my efficiencies so I can hit desired OGs, and volumes ( although I have found it does not take into account losses from hops ).

I have read that people also play with the hop utilisation as they are believed to be a bit high.
