Had a Summer Lightning AG batch sat for a week in the cool garage and have added a pack of beer brite.

Damn thing won't drop clear. Does it need more time?

K

it looks like it does. We made a belgian a while back put it in a corny and left it 2 weeks. Pulled a pint of it and it looked like milk so just left it 2 months. It was excellent. If you dissolve 15g gelatine in cooled boiled water then add to the fv 24 hours before bottling or kegging it will help clear it :thumb:

Did you store it for that time in a keg under pressure?

Don't want to tie up a precious cornie (only got 4!) for that length of time!

K

Put gelatine in and nothing has happened.

Might just keg it and drink it. Bugger it if it's cloudy - just won't give it to my mates.

K

Guess what? It does clear!.....and my cornies work!

You must have been drawing out the gunk from the bottom of the cornie.

Don't you love it when a plan comes together.

Was fermented in the dark and moved to where it is prior to bottling.

Alter the dip pipe in your keg like mine, make one of these out of 3/8 to make the dip tube pick up above the sediment. :thumb:
