Does anyone on here class themselves as a ticker when it comes to real ale drinking?

I never really looked at it before but the other week and a few times since then, I have found myself doing laps around the pub I’m in checking every pump out trying to workout which beer (if any) I’ve not tried before, just so I can try it.
The problem is… That in doing this I think I’m bypassing some I do like for a beer in which I might like, and in some cases I think I’m trying a beer I’ve already tried. I just can’t remember trying it.

Am I or would I be a ticker if I kept this up??? :wha:

BUT I do like trying new beers.

:drink:

I used to do this until I got fed up with trying yet another bitter and hardly ever finding decent stouts, porters, milds, IPAs (all classic British beer styles). Now I don't think about it and just accept that if I'm in the pub with mates I'll just have whatever is cheapest and save the adventure drinking for home brew. There are of course a lot of excellent beers out there and when I see something I like I'm all over it like a tramp on chips.
