Hi, pretty new brewer here, how do I know what style of beer I'm brewing? For instance i made beer with 4kg pale malt 1kg wheat malt, hopped with citra and centennial at 50,20,fo and dry hop. But what style of beer is this. I made it because of mouthfeel etc but I love wheat beer and hazy pale

Thanks Clint I didn't even know it was there brilliant. Just out of interest what would you call it?

I've been drinking a bit of faith and gamma ray recently and if I'm ballpark ill be happy! Soz for the Americanism

Thanks for your comments very helpful not least clints suggestion. I'll be on the beer calc for about an hour finding out what the six all grain beers I've brewed are nearest to. Its so exciting. I bought 25kg bag of pale malt for £15 and a kilo each of citra(£30)and centennial(£10) and added some smaller purchases, malts hops etc, and have made over 80litres approx of (so far) very drinkable beer!

Hi all, the apa is really nice and it's still got another two weeks to condition. I've just bottled a cold fermented ipa( I think) and it tasted fantastic. I'm thinking of just brewing these two forever but trying different hop combos. Before I do that I'm brewing a beer with 2kg pale 2kg pilsner 1kg wheat 100g crystal medium and 400g terrified wheat. Hops are 10g summit@sparge 20g summit@start 20 each simcoe/galaxy@15 30 each@ f/o and 50 each dry hop with the wilco gervin eng ale yeast. Does this sound okay? That is the longest thing I've ever typed on my phone!! Thanks in advance
